Österlen
Simrishamn is situated in the southeast part of Sweden, in Österlen. Österlen is a tranquil corner of Sweden that offers a sense of limitless space. The sand beach is 50 kilometeres long. It stretches from Haväng in the north to Mälarhusen in the south and includes beautiful bathing places at Vitemölla, Stenshuvud, Tobisvik, Borrby and Kyl. Along the coastline lies several picturesque fishing villages with restaurants, studios, and romantic marinas.
Simrishamn
Simrishamn is a small town with a population of 6000. Here you can experience pastel-coloured houses, restaurants, museums, cafées and shops. It was good fortune with fishing that built Simrishamn, and there are still plenty of fish in the sea, lakes and streams around Österlen.

Here are good opportunities for biking, fishing, golf, riding and bathing. Österlen is also an ideal place to explore on foot.
