High quality road systems with low traffic volumes give you Malmö, Kristianstad, Lund and the Oresund (Malmö – Copenhagen) bridge within an hour. And once you’re there, you’re on the National Highways that reach Stockholm and Gothenburg.
From the port to the open road is it less than a 3 minutes drive. The railroad station is within a 5 minutes walk from the port. Two International Airports (Malmö and Kristianstad) can be found within a one-hour drive. And if you add an extra 25 minutes in your car you can reach Copenhagen Airport — one of the busiest in Europe.
Simrishamn is home of the swedish coast guards patrol vessel for the south Baltic and has
been the main port for the Swedish Coast Guards south Baltic operations for many years.
